I actually fixed mine last weekend.
Glass shower door won t close all the way.
I was told by the installer the door is so heavy that you can t put it in the position you want.
Straight to the point.
It s annoying to say the least when i am.
On shower doors typically the rollers will be on a hanger bracket that has a few holes in it or a long angled slot.
The glass can sag.
Quite some info out there and a common problem.
Special thanks to lee sawyer your handyman lee for fixing the shower door by fabricating a small part.
Pretty much all sliding doors bypass closet doors glass sliding doors and of course shower doors have a way to adjust the rollers.
The trick is to find where and how to make that adjustment.
A hinged shower door can become stuck over time due to moisture and soap buildup.
It closes about midway and it has to be pushed back constantly to allow for drying with the towel.
Removing the hardware cleaning the hinges and replacing old and worn out screws can solve many problems.
This is a simple repair to a common problem.
Lee is a true craftsman and the go to guy when i can.
Deep cleaning the hinges and latch on frameless showers can help with door that won t stay shut.
I have the exact same issue.
Because of the weight when the door is opened to exit the shower it will not stay all the way back.
