Gmc Door Lock Stuck

I have also tried using my key in the keyhole on the outside but still nothing.

It could be as simple as that. The lock on my door still goes up and down as if it can be locked and unlocked. However when it is in the unlocked position i still cannot open my drivers door from the inside or the outside. Any idea o read more.

Lift the door handle on the outside while pushing with your knee against the door and pull upwards. Something inside the door must have let loose or your latch mechanism has broken.
